Turnout full face hood or light rug with neck?

As I've only got one stable and 2 ponies to compete, one of them has to stay out and get dirty. Good thing is they're both different shades of brown, so scrubbing them too much an issue apart from the odd white sock!

But if I plait the night before, I usually leave the indoor pone with a lycra hood on to lay the plaits.

Is there such a thing as an outdoor hood that doesn't need attaching to a rug?

It would either need to be shower proof of fairly rub proof. I leave out the one that doesn't roll as much, but I don't want to find her unable to see if she's rolled and the hood has slipped across her eyes!!!

Any recommendations on hoods, lightweight no-fill turnouts with tightish hoods, or even perhaps a fly rug with hood? Necks on the average turnout rug seem to be so huge I think that the movement of them alone would be enough to rub the plaits out!

Pony won't need the rug for warmth I hasten to add - just for cleanliness!

Thanks

Or try the MArk Todd full stretch hoods, they are much cheaper and although they are not technically turn out hoods they dry so quickly they work great as turn out hoods as long as they have a chance to dry when it has been raining
