Can anyone recommend a make of Turnout Hood (not snuggy hoods) that comes in a large enough size to fit a 17.2hh IDxTB

Dress Circle fits perfectly - does anyone know if they intend to do turnout hoods again this winter?

Thanks for that - however slight confusion I want a lycra hood that covers the face in a turn out not stable.

I must be old fashioned - the link is to what I would call a detachable neck - why do things keep changing names ???

Only make I'd ever use is a snuggy hood. My boy wore one for 6 years and it never moved an inch. Several horses up the yard now wear them and they've never moved.

Why do you not want a snuggyhood?

Problems with snuggy hood - don't fit, too small and want one with a zip and theirs is too fiddly with not going all the way down, I know they can custom make, but they will not guarantee that it will not destroy his mane and I won't be able to return one that has been custom made for a giraffe! If they were cheap I woudn't mind another bit of useless kit lying in the tack room but they are not!

if you ring snuggy they will make one to fit, Bossanova i think your hood was too big and probably didn't fit right back over the shoulders the older hoods in days gone by used to do this as this happened to me I can only say my snuggy's are great and worth every penny and the girls if you ring them up are great also ive used Ri-Dry hoods but not as good a snuggy.

I find that a little insulting tbh. Why would I use a hood that was too big on an extremely precious advanced horse?! The hood fitted well, it went down over the shoulders and yes, it still got pulled down over his eyes.
