Turnout rug advice for a rug trasher

I have got a Dales who is a complete and utter rug trasher!! He wrecked two brand new fly rugs in the space of 5 weeks this summer and just manages to rip all his normal rugs.

I am now looking at buying new winter turnout rugs for both of my boys and very much like the look of Premier Equine rugs, particularly the Buster, and just wondered if anyone had tried these on a rug trasher and how well they got on. also if there are any other makes that have stood up to a total vandal very well I would love to hear from you.

My other Dales is very good with his rugs and I have no problem spending money on rugs for him as they last for years but the younger one is just a nightmare!!!

You need to eliminate whatever he trashes them on ideally!
I had to put my mare into a little electrically fenced paddock or she would kill her rug on bushes/trees/wire/the gate.....the list was just bl**dy endless!

But was this because it itched?? How awful if you had an itch you couldn't scratch:confused::p
