Turnout rug for very round pony

Any recommendations for a good, reasonably priced turnout rug for a very round welsh A? He has a cuddly ponies one at the moment (in lilac

) as was the only one I could find that fitted, but it slips round almost instantly on him and rubs his neck.

He only really needs a lightweight as he came with slight rain scald so trying to keep him dry this winter.

Any ideas? Really want something that wont budge

Riff Raff and Masta both suit my round pony. I cured the rubs with a nylon rug bib. Overall I would say that Cuddly Ponies are the best shape for spherical ponies

His CP one just ends up round his knees, and I end up taking it off as he gets really fed up in it. I need something that wont slip round really

One of my shetlands wears a Rhino wug, he can roll out of most rugs but not this one. Not that reasonably priced, though

I was looking at the rhino wug (thought the high neck option might help stop the slipping) do they come up large or small? Found one online thats not too pricey

I used a rhino on Ginger. It never slipped, never rubbed, was the most fabulous rug ever (and we all remember how round he was!). I am saving my pennies to buy another because IMO nothing else comes close. The lightweight version really IS lightweight, with a satin lining which leaves the most fabulous shine on the coat, and keeps them snug and dry.

It was yours that made me think abiut getting, I dont know whether to get him a 4'6 or 4'9. the cuddly ponies 4'6 is quite tight on him

but that is what he measures as.
