I have an anglo who is out 24/7. Wanting to buy him a nice new wardrobe, as he is currently in handmedowns/cheapo rugs. Like the look of some of the weatherbeeta combos, but wonder if they'll be too large in the shoulders for a wirey anglo? (he really is teensy) I have a weatherbeeta fleece which is large in the shoulders on him, but I havent found a fleece that isnt. Also like the look of the amigo rugs.. how do they come up size wise? DH look lovely too...
He also gets rubbed shoulders with fleeces, and his Royston mw.. which makes me think the rugs are too tight on the shoulders, which I know theyre not! Help!!

I really rate Amigos. I have two, a lightweight and a medium weight, which I use all winter (Marius is a native and has a trace clip, so a medium weight rug is sufficient). It's not overly wide over the shoulders, doesn't slip and doesn't leak. I use a neck cover and I am content that he is warm and dry. And they are not as expensive as a lot of rugs are.

Rambo are fab!

However if you are after something cheaper, the Amigo's are good, and I can assure you they are not too generous on the neck, I had to get an extender for mine.

WB Rugs are brilliant. Ive got a Rambo Duo but am not very impressed (especially when it cost so much!) - will buy WB's in future again. The Orican and Arions are brilliant. They fit my narrow AND wide horse fine. Although, Ive found the Amigo's may be slightly better for narrow fronts.
