My horse has a bit of mudfever in his pasterns,he is on Fungatrol at the moment and I am waiting for the cream from Lincoln University to trial butI have also bought some sportsac socs to keep his legs dry. They say to clear up any mudfever before using but has anyone used them after their horse has a bit of mudfever ,as I can't seem to clear it unless I stable fully ,which is not possible at present.
Did you put cream on then socs, did you just put boots on, did you keep stabled and clear it first ?Did it get worse if you put them on with mudfever?

Ive had real problems in the past. I use equi chaps but again you have to wash and dry then everynight and they wrinkle down and keep the mud against the skin if it gets underneath. I find the keretex powder the best stuff. `Its like talc then at night using the thermatex stable wraps making sure she has dry legs as much as poss.

The powder is amazing stuff!!
