Following previous advice from fellow H&H forum users I have decided I would prefer my pony to have 24 hour turnout. So my choice is as follows:
Stay where I am, 40 minute hack to my house. But no fields available for 24 hour turnout, will have to be boxed at night with a mud hill for turnout during the day. However, down the road and can see her everyday.
Take her to a friends, about 40 minute drive away. 24 hour turnout with her horses. Fantastic hacking out in a forest on the doorstep. Downside would only be able to see her once or twice a week. It would only be till April when she could come back and be nearby. But when I did see her could take her on fantastic hacks!!
So what shoudl I do? I want her to be out 24hours but worry about not seeing her every day. Is quality better than quantity?
