Do you guys have a large turnout? Is it mix or seperate? And which do you think is best or do you not think it makes a difference?

At the moment my mare is on 24/7 turnout with another mare. This is because my mare is evil in the field. The other mare she is out with is also evil so they love each other. However in the winter its 4 day turnout.
To be honest mares and geldings mixed can really work and they develop a good heard. On the other hand some mares and geldings are better with their own gender if you see what I mean? Other horses are better on their own, it all depends on the horse as to weather it makes a differance or not.
