You would think he would have more sense though - honestly, he has to realise that if he wants to be the face of fighting for our cause then he HAS to try and keep his nose clean! Sure, people will be chanting his name and having a beer on him and saying he is behind bars for the cause, but all he has managed is to make Daily Mail readers even more cross and the LACS must be LTAO now - bugger.

But I agree, he IS a nice guy!
 
According to local paper tonight Otis has been remanded in custody until December 5th, trial date set for March 9th next year

Nice guy, yes! Idiot, yep - that too. He's not behind bars for 'the cause' - he's behind bars for attempting to pervert the course of justice (witness tampering). Either the ex-hunt groom was a plant initially, or Otis treated him like sh*t so he's getting even, OR the anti's made it worth his while! But they WILL be extremely pleased with the 'result' Otis has given them - through his own foolishness! (and the KH will be pleased - he gets to hunt hounds all season!)

And Otis is a very poor 'face' for the cause - simply because he shows a complete lack of judgement. Now is NOT the time to be getting high profile headlines showing hunting people having no regard for the law. (It never WAS the time to be doing THAT!)
 
It's a mystery. How did someone with those genes end up looking like that? *sigh* Never was sure if he was named after Otis Redding, or conceived in a lift... Either way, he doesn't strike me as terribly *whispers* bright.
 
I think the whole things a bloody disgrace hes hardly a threat to National Security or a rapist or anything like that, but hes beeing locked up at taxpayers expense. On the other hand, witness tampering is serious, but its not proven at the moment, innocent until proven guilty and all that. I really think hes being kept in clink to stop him hunting this season as a punishment. Its bloody ridiculas.
 
I agree there! - Was ment to see him tomorrow night at a friends party - guess he wont be there - sad as he did most the organising! and he misses Sat too. That will be an excellent breakfast meet!

Whilst I like the guy, I agree with Sooty about him possibly being a little bit 'tim nice but dim', if you get my meaning.

I do however think there are far better people to head a campaign. We do not need the wealthy, connected sons of rock stars to promote a sport which we are all trying to prove is NOT elitist, is not class-ist,and DOES have ordinary people doing it. The campaigns with nurses in their hunting kit went far closer to the mark IMO.
