TV aerial on horsebox

My little lorry has one of those mushroom shaped TV aerials on it's roof. We're very rural and have lots of country lanes to negotiate before getting to the main roads and I keep knocking the aerial off and my OH is fed up of having to climb up and repair it.
Does anyone know if the inside aerials are any good or any other suggestions other than to cut all the low branches down!

Because our lorry catches pretty much everything on the roof we (meaning me) just attach the ariel to the roof when we get to where ever we're going. The people i share the lorry with figure as i'm the smallest it wont hurt as much if i fall off!!

I take it your lorry has a ladder and roof rack? There's no way I could get up to the roof away from home.

Yes it sure does, Its never fun and even worse when its been raining!
