Lorry has been away having some extras done one being a tv antenna. It is a Teleco wing antenna but alas i have tried it in all different locations and its yet to pick up a signal.
I am being told that i need to park the lorry with the antenna directly pointing in a straight line at a satellite in space. How the hell would i know where that is !!! And not really feasible to keep moving around the lorry park.
I have always had the status before (only analogue tv though)
Has any one got any suggestions on a different make or model which might work.
I am now looking at the Status 540 ?
thanks

The antenna is fixed it doesnt move that is the problem, I have been told to drive the lorry around until i get a signal. I think i need a different antenna that swivels.

I'm a bit confused - is it a satellite dish or a TV antenna?

Satellite dishes do need fairly accurate alignment but TV antenna are usually a bit more forgiving as they still receive signal from terrestrial masts like analogue as opposed to satellites.

Depending on the TV you've got, has it got a signal strength indicator on the menu? I used that to align my aerial at home.

Another idea is to use a known aerial to tune the TV in your lorry then adjust the unkown aerial until you get a good picture.
