Let's hope the "live" coverage of Badminton will be better than it was last year.

I remember think it was 2000 - watching the first to last horse complete the xc on bbc2, not just on intereactive.

And obviously I need something to watch so I can avoid revision

Oooh... thanks for that! I've been wondering for a little while now what this year's coverage of Badminton etc will be like!

Have emailed them to ask if there will be live coverage (on normal or interactive) of the cross country as there has been in previous year's. Will let you know if I get a reply!

Hope so- I have the telly provisionally booked out for 5th May anyway!

I e-mailed the Badminton office about 10 days ago and their reply then was that there would be "substantial" live coverage on Saturday but that actual broadcast times were still to be decided. They also confirmed that there would be no interactive coverage this year.

TV tent by the Badminton Lake for me again this year then.
 
That's a bit rubbish! If they can provide "substantial" live coverage, then they'll already have the cameras and crew in place, how hard can it be to provide a live streaming interactive channel all day?

Seems to be going backwards in terms of coverage for those not lucky enough to make it.

(It's a fair trek from Scotland, but I'm working on getting the OH to take me... one day...!)
