Basicly begining of Jan had a phone call from Mischief's owner saying they want to sell her. We had a months notice and she went back today. She actually went on to another family who THINK they are going to buy her. It seemed a strange set up, her owner didn't come but the 'other family' came and picked her up. They have never set eyes on the pony before, saw, patted and loaded up. All I had was a few text messages to say what was happening.
This lady asked a few questions to which I answered, one of which was how much money did I think she was worth. I find those sort of questions really hard, but did say £600. I had to put into account her breathing (copd, better living out) and her massive heart murmour. The lady didn't know how old she was either!
Will miss the little white fluffy one, just hope she will stay safe, as the whole performance had a hint of 'dodgeyness' in my eyes.
I had my son (aged 3.5 but doesn't speak well). We waved the lorry off and then he broke down and it was heart renching. He didn't want Mischy to go. I felt awful, and I realised Iam so not good with these situations and cried too!!

On the plus side, Mischief's place will be filled next weekend, the new pony Candy is coming to join us. She is another fluffy white pony, albeit rounder!!
Candy updates to follow then.

That does sound like a sad day.
Look forward to hearing of your updates and pics of Candy

Know what you mean mi dear. The po' we share for my daughter is being sold and it is heart-wrenching. I would love to buy but know that my time commitments elsewhere mean it is not the right time for us....yet.
Chin up!
