Was SJ steward today and was shocked to hear this, saw the heli and wondered what was going on then heard the tragic news, very sad

i spoke to mark corbett who rent oli a barn at his yard so thats how i know oli is battered but breathing. thank god.

i was down at the warm up/start when it happened.. from what i heard the horse collapsed

Oh poor Oli - didnt he also loose a horse; - Monarch's Aristocrat? - WFP was riding it at Boekello (sp?) It is one of the worst things on earth loosing a horse!

Apparently he has a badly bruised liver too?

There was another bad fall today in the novice, rotational and the girl was airlifted, she was unconscious for some time

from the horses mouth so to speak he has a torn liver and partially unctured lung and will be in hospital a few more days yet. says feels like has been squashed by double decker buses. am going to see him tomorow i will pass on the good wishes x
