Hi,

Need some guidance please!

I'd like to get a tweed as I think I can use it for anything I'd like to do with my mare, so have saved and have about £200 to spend on one. Prob is my local tack shops stock very few, and I'd quite like something that isn't the same as alot of people have. I really love the Shires one, but I think so does everyone else! I'd really like something more individual.

Help!

I've found lots of websites that do them in lots of different tweeds but I would really like a jacket from somewhere I can try it on first so I can be sure I love the cut too - a one time only purchase so it has to be right.

Can anyone recommend such a place?

Hot choc on a chilly day as thanks for the help!

I will be at olympia (can't wait!), not sure what stands will be there. Shall hope there is somewhere selling gorgeous tweeds! Was hoping to get one from Gatcombe but there wasn't anywhere with much stock. Hope Olympia will be better!

Just checked the Olympia list and Alexander James will be there, ace! Thanks guys!
Crazy Mare, do you have anything from either of those? Am having difficulty working out the difference between all the different brands online.

Why not contact them before you go to Olympia, and tell them what you're looking for, and they might bring some specific things for you to try!

Yes, I have a beautiful AJ tweed jacket, standard pattern, tweaked a little to acomodate my monkey arms and tiny waist.

Ohh, that jacket is really gorgeous, love the tweed too. That's handy they make alterations to their standard fit - one of the reasons I'm not after one off the rail - the ones I've tried fit me terribly!!
