Tweed jacket, what colour stock is correct?

oh no, never a white stock with a tweed jacket!

white is only for black or navy, cream can be worn with a tweed but a pattern is better

You should wear a coloured stock with tweed don't really think it matters if plain or paterned as long as it tones in with the overall turnout.
 
i always wear a spotty navy blue one, very small spots, alot of my friends have similar, it seems that boys prefer to wear the checked ones
 
Tie is better than a stock for showing,
If not for showing then the coloured (plain or patterned is correct)
If its for showing in an evening performance, I think you are supposed to wear a black/navy jacket in which case a white stock is correct!
 
A coloured stock MAY be worn with a tweed for showing, but a shirt and tie is better, giving a more 'workman like' appearance.

This was said to me at a showing clinic by a hunter judge.
