Tweed's for dressage

If you wear a tweed for dressage, do you wear a stock or tie? (sorry if really dim question

)

I wear a tweed jacket with stock for dressage. However, the BD website does say a shirt and tie is permissible.

Yes, either is correct.

If you go for the stock option, it should be a coloured stock as white/cream is for navy or black jackets.

Sorry for stealing the post slightly but what coloured stock would go best with grey tweed (black velvet collar). My thoughts were plum/burgundy/aubergine type colour but not really to sure!

I have burgundy with yellow pinspots with my green tweed, i think burgundy goes well with any tweed!!

I wear a stock with my tweed - its actually a green checked stock but looks smart with a green tweed.

Which show jacket do you have? Mines grey herringbone with black colour, and I have a plum/burgandy type stock which goes nicely.

Yeps, mines grey/balck herringbone type thing (caldene one) so plumy colour would probably go quite nicely?

i never knew you could wear tweed for dressage!! maybe i will have to take it up just so i can wear my new tweed some more!!
