What was the last PN like compared to SoE, went clear xc there but it was quite a test (just looked at the sj photos and they seem huge!). Would be nice for Duke to have an easier last run

I was meant to be doing the PN today but had to withdraw - combo of work commitments etc, however they had space for me to change to tomorrow so i had a walk round the course - its identical to the course they used earlier in the year - its pretty big, pinic table at top of hill is quite a size. The ground is also quite churned already! After walking I decided not to run - it dont mean for it to sound like the course is really bad - it isnt, I just didnt want a to do that track again, we went clear last time so was hoping for a change.

It was amazing till they cut down all the trees its only churned it someplaces but its not boggy. Course is normal 1st jump, then to a house, then a log table thing, upright thing, ski jump down to chair, double of pheasant feeders, log pile thing, skinny, pinic table, another log pile, sunken road with jump after, log pile- ish then house into water, through one water over house on island, then back into water, skinny house out, drop with skinny brush, bullfinch thing and usual last jump. Nothig overly technical just a lot of timber ! It did ride really nicely when I was there earlier in year although i was really nervous before hand. Enjoy !!!

I did the PN today. XC ground excellent as they had a tractor out on the course levelling all the sand and scraping the excess off.

Thought course was twisty, quite techical as many of them has a's, b's and c elements, and a few were off-set. Picnic table was huge but jumped well. Houses with the water jumps required plenty of impulsion. A really interesting course with everything in it, but not many people made the time which is unusual at this level.

Dead chuffed to come 4th as last one of the season

Good luck for the weekend applechaff
