Does pointing count as a competition? Anyway, earlier today Rosie came 2nd in the Novice Riders race and 3rd in the Ladies Open - she was thrilled with the way both horses went and said she'd have come 2nd in the Ladies but he made a bit of a mistake over the last. Sorry, self -indulgent.

Well done Rosie - what was the weather like up there? It's been really bad down here in the South West today but I'm not sure about Black Forset Lodge.

Must confess we chickened out because of the dreadful forecast, but I gather it was very wet and muddy and I could hear it was blowing a gale when I was talking to her on the phone.
Thanks MDM - I think she'd love to break the record and I guess (for a few minutes at least) she was leading lady rider in the country - unless a woman won the first at Black Forest Lodge of course.
