dressage in big field near lorry park, sometimes bit slippery as ots of grass cover. sj is big and technical normally with poly jumps and light poles (most of the time) xc course is educational and fair at each level though i have not done the int.
always good going as it is sandy on the xc course. long walk to get to it thuogh!
they don't use the poly jumps anymore in the int, its in the main arena over a lovely set of wooden jumps, big and bright.!! at the july event they also had wooden jumps for the N and PN, thank the lord.!!
WHen ever ive been and competed there - allbeit yrs ago when still lived down south theyve always used colourful wooden SJs and when I went down with Rosie for the OI there at the begining of the season they used wooden, the XC is on sandy ground and although you might "get dirty" the ground is very good I like Tweseldown. for the OI the fences werent as HUGE as I thought they might be, but some questions and a couple of bigger more straight forward fences!
Dressage is flat, sj is big and generally causes a fair few faults xc is of medium severity with a few technical questions- generally a double of corners, a couple of skinnies and a few nice big bold things like the foot bridge to give you some fun!!
