Hi all !

Is anyone planning on doing tweseldown this weekend?
Im in section A PN so dressage friday afternoon with early sj and xc on saturday.
Does everyone think it will run ? they have cancelled before.
 
We went XC schooling there on Saturday and the ground is really quite good TBH. Lovely course I have never been before. It looks a bit boggy in places but because it is so sandy, it is actually fine.
Wish I was competing now....maybe next year!
 
i'm supposed to be running sunday in the novice but i have to say i reckon they will cancel, that will mean i haven't had a run for 8 weeks! guess other people are in the same boat. its so depressing, i know we all want good ground but this is taking it to the extreme, my summer paddocks resemble paddocks you find in november!
 
I live about 10 mins away and the ground isnt to bad, just checked the weather on bbc and today is the last day for showers, tomorrow there will be a light shower and the rest of the week is sunny with saturday being very sunny ! the only part that i could see being a problem is the sj, the car park is all on hardcore, so that should hold up !
OH !!! I hate all this rain - like you I was quite happy when it first started raining ! now im sick of it !
 
well that sounds like there could be a glimmer of hope then, so desperate to get out, only thing i've been getting out to is dressage! lets keep everything crossed, maybe sarah as you live so close you could keep us updated with the weather? i'm in horsham and its currently tipping it down!!!!
 
Hopefully will be there on Saturday- Section B PN.
Looking at the forecast it looks promising with light showers tomorrow, then cloud and some sun thurs and fri, then one big round sun on Saturday.
Really hope all is OK to run as after Eridge cancelling I really am looking forward to this weekend.

thanks for the update sarah, like you say not looking good at all, tomorrow is supposed to be dryish but friday's forcast is peeing down. would be shocked and stunned if they do run, and unfortunatley if they did the ground would def not hold up for all 3 days.
 
I have been madly emailing ann as i needed to swap sections, im sure she is just going to ballot me next time as im such a pain - she still planning like its running! - Thats a good sign !
 
don't want to get your hopes up or too excited but the forcast looks ok for the weekend, they say some showers tomorrow but if they are just showers then fingers crossed!!! SARAH any weather update your end?????
