we got down to the yard early to turn her out first before everyone else. left her in the box with her boots on for half an hour as she only had them on for the first time yesterday but she was good as gold. got her lead out to the field (with hats and gloves of course!) without mishap. had had a bit of a gallop round a buck and afart them soon settled down. shes out with an older pony at the moment so hopefully he should be a calming influence! was lovely seeing her move properly though, her trot is amazing so it bodes well for the future.
I was working this afternoon so mum was looking after her. she caught her fine and then took her to hose her legs off. mums had her in the stable with a saddle on girthed up loosely (as she has only had racing pads on before) and gave her a good groom and she didnt bat an eyelid and tucked straight into her tea so she seems to be settling in well!
