Hi all,
had the vet out for my horse yesterday as he was acting strange. He had a roaring temp (which is now back to normal) so the vet thinks it could be an infection. He is on antibiotics twice a day and bute once a day. When the vet was here she also gave an anti inflammatory and a shot of antibiotics.
he since has a very twitchy nose/muzzle. Does anyone know what this could be? He is a bit unsteady on his feet as well I’m presuming this is from weakness of being ill.
after not eating or drinking for a day he is now eating and drinking and has passed poo and small amounts of urine.
im just looking for any extra information on the twitchy nose and what type of infection this could be. All of his blood work came back normal as well.
