Very sad, my thoughts go out to family and close friends

But why oh why they had to go down there I don't know

exactly - what where a 6 year old and 7 year old doing out unsupervised (anywhere, never mind near a motorway!)- i've only just started letting my 13 year old out on his bike as we live in quite a remote area! and only then when he's accompanied by an older sibling, what where the parents thinking!!!!! i'm horrified - it's no good telling children of that age not to do something - they have no understanding of real danger at that age!!!!!! how the poor drivers must be feeling is beyond me - it really is too terrible to think about!

It's really sad for the boys, their families and the poor drivers who hit them - they will never forgive themselves although I doubt there was much they could do to avoid them.

The father of one of the boys apparently started looking for them at 5pm and rang police at 7pm. One boy had only lived in area a few weeks so may have just got lost when it started going dark. What an absolute tragedy!
