Copied from another forum......PLEASE pass it around

Hi All
My two beautiful chihuahua girls, Tinkerbell and Thumbalina have been stolen today from my backyard. They were in the kitchen with the door open into the yard. I heard a squeal and ran out but they had vanished into thin air!! The back yard door had been jemmied open. Why the girls never barked is a total mystery as normally they are great little "tenters"!!
I am absolutely out my mind with worry as Thumbalina is due to have babies tomorrow!!
If anyone can give me any advice apart from the obvious, police, newspapers, radio etc. I would be most grateful.
I am prepared to give a very substantial reward to get my darling girls back but honestly I don't know how to proceed.
they have obviously been stolen to order. Please if anyone has been in this dreadful situation let me know what else I can do.
Also if someone could upload their pictures for me, that would be a huge help.
Many thanks and all suggestions gratefully received.
Annie
Hi All,
Many thanks for all your info and good wishes, it is really greatly appreciated. I have asked Caroline to upload pics of the girls. I will certainly follow all the links and the suggestions provided.
I am located nr Blackburn in Lancashire but honestly the kids could be anywhere by now.
As you can imagine I am absolutely inconsolable at the moment.I have had them from being tiny babies and they are litter sisters. They have only ever known me and with Thumbalina due to whelp tomorrow I am out of my mind with worry. Chihuahuas always need someone with them at the time of giving birth as you all probably know they are not the best whelpers in the world and often need veterinary assistance ie Cesarian Section.
Please send all your positive energy to them and all you lovely Reiki practitioners please do some distance work on them both. I know they will be absolutely terrified.
Sincere thanks again and I will keep you posted.
Cheers
Annie

oh no this is horrible !! im suprised you havent been contacted about a reward as usually expensive dogs are stolen for the reward?
I have heard of this happening before to toy dogs so i never let mine out without supervision as im so paranoid about it - disgusting though you should feel safe in your home without intruders.
i will post a link on the greenwich toy dog forum x

How awful

Stealing dogs is quite the modern perfect crime. The Police show little or no interest and owners are so desparate that they will be willing to pay up. It makes me really angry - not to say worried as I have two standard poodles.

I hope this lady gets her girls back. Unfortunately Chihuahuas are said to be going for over £1000 each! Never good to be fashionable as a dog
