TWO insurance claims on the go !!

What a nightmare, as if one wasn't pain enough. One with NFU and one with E&L. Let's see who wins for customer service, and actually settling the claim ??. Have already had a slightly snotty email from one of them.

I insure my lot through E & L and they've just settled a £600 vet bill, no hassle or anything! Big thumbs up from me after reading all the horror stories about them. Good luck with your claims

E&L were an absolute nightmare when my horse died, it was like getting blood from a stone. They gave me £700 "market value" for my 6 year old tb x hannovarian, and it took them 8 months to pay it. would not touch them with a barge pole.

My NFU claim was paid within 2 months. When my boy was PTS in January they also paid up in 2 months. But then we are paying alot more for the cover these days. I've had 3 claims with them within 8 months and only one which was being dealt with by equine first took the longest.
