Two insurance policies on same horse

I have recently bought a horse (4 months ago).
She is insured for vet bills only on one policy (Agria). However I have decided I would like loss of use and death, but I can’t update the current policy. Is there anything stopping me taking out separate death and loss of use with a different company? She would have to be insured for a lower amount as I would rather not have to have her vetted again having only been vetted 4 months ago but think I could still get up to 5k covered with NFU?
TIA

Is she on the lifetime policy with Agria? If so, that is the same policy I use for ours and, I believe, death and disposal, and LOU is included in that policy. Or at least it is on mine.
I do have separate policies with Harry Hall for accident and external injuries only, as Agrias excess is quite a lot, so I like to have a policy with a cheaper excess for small scrapes.
I personally would give Agria a call and ask what they recommend, they were so helpful when I rang to ask about taking out a policy with a second company, apparently quite a few of their clients do it.

If it came to a claim the company will ask if the horse is insured anywhere else and they may even refuse to pay out then. I don't believe you can actually get death and loss of use separately so you'd be double insuring for vet fees
