what's going on? Do you think the thieves are planning to sell them as Xmas presents??!! I think I might have to put my shettie on stilts to fool the offenders!!!

I would parcel one of ours up if someone would take it. It has been a nightmare the last few weeks.
We have just put her in jail.
Saying that i realy do feel for those who have had theirs stolen. I would be devastated if someone took the rest.

Stow fair is next week. No, I know the thieves aren't stupid enough (well sometimes they are) to bring any stolen ponies out publicly at Stow. But i would advise anyone looking for a stolen pony to get along to the Stow area a few days early and have a drive around. Quite often the sellers pull up somewhere close by and do a bit of horse trading before the event.

Thank you to the OP for posting this. I tried to get on to do it yesterday, but for some reason the website kept failing to load.

These two ponies belong to my friend, and I spent a lot of yesterday with her, and was there when the police were, the first time anyway, not for the later statement & SOCO.

My poor friend & her eleven year old daughter (whom the ponies belong to) are just heartbroken.

We will certainly be looking at fairs & sales, and anywhere else anyone can suggest to us. We won't stop looking until they are found. I just hope that is soon. These are two very sweet ponies, who must be very frightened.

What is the police reference number for this?

Some people may wish to pass info to Hampshire direct, so it's an idea to post the reference so that it gets to the officer who's dealing.

So sorry to hear of this they must be devistated. It is always worth circulating a picture to all the Passport issuing organisations and asking them to keep an eye out as these ponies will need passports at some time if they are going to pass them on.

Were they microchipped if so circulate the number. There should be a contact list on the DEFRA website, also the horse sales companies as well.

I think we pretty much know whom these ponies have been taken by, group I mean not individual, and I don't think passports figure highly in their future plans!

Sadly, they were neither chipped nor branded in any form.

Posters have certainly gone to many places, with pictures on. I will check if they sent them to passport agencies - certainly the actual breed society were notified, not sure about the rest.
