Tying up question...

Had a jumping lesson yesterday and on putting my lovely boy back into his stable noticed he was quivering and on leading him out to look again noticed his back legs were starting get very stiff. Was very typical of tying up symptoms and my trainer who is very experienced agreed. Called the vet and treated as tying up. Having now had the blood results back they show nothing indicating to tying up. Is it possible to take bloods too soon or would the relevant enzymes already be present? has anyone else experienced this.
If not azoturia am worried as to what it was and how to treat.

sorry to hear about you boy, hope its nothing to serious

i think it can help to feed a horse that ties up/azoturia/epsm a high fibre and oil suplmenting with vit e diet
