What is the format for a typical showing class for:

a) ridden including M&M
b) in-hand.

Do you do individual show? Extend?

Ridden M&M - they need to be workmanlike and moving foward, yes you do an individual show, and include a good gallop, that's what Genie wins classes on as her gallop is great (the bonus of a horse that just likes to go!). Usual format - enter on the right rein, have the initial go-round in walk, trot and canter, pulled in, individual inspection and show, then final placings.

In-hand M&M - same as any other in-hand class. Walk around the edge of the ring on the right rein, stop in one corner and each trot to the back of the 'ride', pulled into the lineup either in any order or initial placings, then one by one go out to the judge for inspection, walk away from the judge, turn and trot straight back at the judge, round to the back, and then walk back into the lineup.
