Does anyone use one and can recommend one? I think I want one that can plug into the mains as well as the lighter socket as I’m not sure my socket works and my battery doesn’t need an extra drain also the ones I’ve looked at the cord is unlikely to be long enough to reach my tyres unless there is an extension I can get? I guess I could possibly do it off my car socket? Thanks

Have a look at jump starters as around £100.
Will be man enough for tyres but also suitable for jump starting if necessary.

We've had 2 over the last 21 years, they last v well. Also useful at home if you have power cuts!

Running one off your car will be 12v and will take forever to inflate as no guts to them.
Thanks but I’ve already got a battery jump starter pack I only bought a few months ago. The one linked only goes up to 2l. My lorry is 2.5 or 2.8l All of the compressors seem to plug into a lighter socket but that’s no use to me as the cables aren’t long enough to reach the tyres.

I think I may have found one that has a mains socket. Trouble is Google doesn’t always give you what you’re actually searching for 😡.

My last box was a 2.8 and it was fine to be jump started by that inverter pack I linked to above.
The inverter is v useful, charging phone, compressor built in for tyre inflating etc - hence me suggesting it - as this doesn't need to be used in a lighter socket. Charge it up at home and tote to yard/box.
