I need to replace all tyres on my Ifor Williams 506, when purchased it had 4 of 185/70/R13C (then it has 106/104N 12P.R. at the end of that number), I purchased from a friend who had had the trailer serviced and these were the tyres the company had put on it, which from what I can understanding is totally acceptable. When it's been serviced at Ifor Williams, they've never commented on the size of tyres, but they did suggest 2 needed replacing, however I'm doing all of them. I've only just realised the spare is 165/13C. Now the question is - do I replace all 5 with 185's or do I put 165/R13C on it (I'll replace the spare too)? Just wondering what everyone else does? My local garage can supply the 185s but I'd need to buy 165's and take them to them for fitting. As I'm in two minds on whether to sell the trailer due to my horse having never even travelled in it!! I want to make sure it's right. Thanks.
