Thanks ebi248 - I went to the local agricultural store and asked about udder cream for swelling - woman there said it was very good so I bought some uddermint to put on Bomber's swollen fetlock. I havn't got it to his fetlock yet but I have tested some on my arm and it feels very wierd - sort of cold inside but not on the outside.

Has anyone else used anything like this - she said it was good for sore backs and chesty coughs as well!

It's one of those things that works for everything. I wish I had some at the moment - my hands are chapped and blistered to bits off baler twine on the straw bales

Trust me get it on his fetlock and it will be fine!

I hate it when you have been getting straw and hay in and your hands feel hideous

My youngest daughter has just asked me if I have been eating mints (she loves them) - I let her have a sniff of my arm to convince her there wasn't any for eating
