UELN tracing

I'm going to York sales tomorrow and I'm interested in a particular pony but it doesn't state breeding. Does anyone know how I can trace it through the UELN. I've just been on the UELN website but there doesn't appear to be any provision for tracing individual animals.

The UELN is made up of country code, issuer code, then code designating the particular horse. You'll need to find out the issuer and contact them, they will be able to give you details of the horse.

If the passport issuer who issued the UELN is a high st PIO they will have very sketchy info.
