Sooo, my partner and myself both have little Labradors. (I say both because although we all live together ones very much mine and ones very much his!)
Mine is about 2 and his is 8 months, they are full brothers.
When something happens ie- a puddle might appear or a pair of socks disappear we both venomously defend our beloved little lab and swear blind it was the other one that caused the problem ;)
However.... We do have a issue with one of them and chewing overnight, quite serious chewing! (Obviously his)
We argue over this til we are blue in the face.
Now here's the problem.... Other half has bought a internet camera thingy to set up in the house over night and catch the culprit red pawed.....
In truth I suspect my little lad is the villain!!!!
I've had a chat and fore warned him if he's caught I will never be able to defend him again and I will never hear the end of it!
Wish us luck! - we are ok for tonight as he cant get his new toy to work! :)
My dogs probably eaten a lead or something......

Haha I'm sorry but I laughed!

We have a similar situation here, our younger gsd is mine, the older one is OH's. Unfortunately the baby is the chewer, and although the older one is his accountabilabuddy, he's a total grass and when baby has done something naughty the older one cries and paddles the door to abdicate responsibility. So we don't need the camera.

Haha, we have a similar situation here with 3 Jack Russells. The eldest is very much mine, the middle one is definitely OH's and the youngest our son's. He technically lives with our son but in reality spends most of the day with our dogs. W e all defend our "own" dog. OH and son call mine a whimp but equally blame him for things he wouldn't dare do. OH's collects socks, mainly OH's and he will suck them but if son's dog shows an interest then a tug of war ensues with the inevitable holes and tears in the sock. Son and OH will then blame each other's dog for the damage. Son's dog is a bit of a chewer, nothing was ever chewed before he arrived, OH's shoes are often a target or any paper left lying around can often be shredded if we're out and he often has paper in his mouth as evidence. Last week he managed to get onto the worktop and chewed up £65. Fortunately he had the foresight not to chew the serial numbers and the bank replaced it all. Even with all the evidence pointing to his dog being the culprit our son maintains the other dogs or even the cats must be to blame!
