Brave man indeed

So he sent her off home with some samples of the Royal Canin Obesity Management to see if she'd like it then I have to go back during the week to make up a weight loss plan for her

She did love the food, but is not impressed

She is currently 11.7kg. The nurse who deals with weightloss patients is fab though, unlike other people she is not basing what Beastie should be on a mini schnauzers as they tend to carry them light as they are getting smaller in size, whereas Beastie is a little tank and she did say she is very muscly even though a bit fat!

FWIW she doesn't look very heavy from any pics you have posted of her

I was actually shocked at the amount of ads for mini schnauzers in the BT the other day, now that you mention it.

I am trying to help OH's brother try to slim his ten year old (obese

) lab x goldie down, will follow this with interest.
I went mad at him last night for feeding him Bonios and discovered that the neighbours have been feeding him choc digestives....argh!!!!

Mini schnauzers have really grown in popularity. I got her over 8 years ago and it was soooo hard to find a litter! She only cost £250, whereas now you would be hard pushed to get one for uner £400

We have a gorgeous little mini schnauzer on our estate, I used walk past him on his way back from puppy training classes while I was walking our two. I would always feel slightly ashamed as we passed, because his puppy would be walking to heel with lovely manners while Leah and Poppy dragged me along and nearly pulled my arms out when they saw another dog.

(I'd like to add that Leah is perfect on the lead when Pops isn't there to distract her

).

Anyway, that really had nothing to do with your post, but I feel your pain because Poppy's become a bit of a porker too.

She's my sister's dog, not mine, so I refuse to take responsibility for this.
