Has anyone used them to put in a manege?

I was thinking of using them but wanted to know if other people are happy with their arenas?

Thank you

No, but we do have them in the horsewalker and they've been absolutely brilliant. Same lot has been down now for over 8 months and hasn't had any removed or topped up. We just pick up any poo that any of the 5 horses on it might have done, give it a rake over once a week and that's it. Still looks like new. We've also got it in our lunging pen.

We have just had a brand new school put in by a company that has just started doing them its sand and rubber and it is brilliant, rides amazing horses love it, nice to jump on. We dont even have to level it that often. We think its great and very very well priced. PM me if youd like any other details

I have one, it was put down 5 years ago .At first it was great we do mainly dressage on it but found it ok for jumping up to about 1.10m.
The problem is it does rot down and for the past couple of years it has only been ok in the dry weather and at one end it is now just mud. We would like a top up but they weren't that helpful when we asked for advice, I only wanted to know if we should just have more on top or have the old removed . I have asked for two years at The Your Horse live if they would pop and see it as it is only down the road but they haven't helped at all. I know I should have a top up and see how it goes but I don't have the money to see if it works.
I have also asked for a copy of my receipt as I need it for capital gains tax purposes but they say they need an exact date for the receipt not just name and address and summer 2002 or 2003. Again I suppose my fault but thought they would have a list of past customers.
So brilliant to start with but expect a top up after about 4 years. Maybe ask them for a reference from someone who has had one for a long time and had a top up, then let me know if it is good again after top up!
