ulcers? unsure??!!

willow (1 y.o) has two uncer type lesions on her upper lip. one on each side. started off very small, and thought it was from rubbing on the bars in the stables. but since then they are much bigger, and she hasnt been in other than for handling. they arent sore, and she is eating as normal.

any ideas what they are and how to treat?

Try reading this - seems like lots of people have experienced them and the "vet" on the thread says granulomas - a reaction to bots...

Just to confirm for anyone with similar problems, I wormed with eqvalan paste (ivermectin) was given oral anti-bis, flamazine and then moved the horse off the pasture she'd been on - one of those things worked (I know thats not THAT helpful but its more help than my vet could be)

I've also heard that buttercups or some other similar acidic flower can cause these ulcers.

It's a type of herpes I think I remember somebody saying on here. Wouldn't worry about them they dissapear after a while. Mine had one this spring
