Write a list of what you take with you when competing-do you try and narrow it down to the bare minimum or throw everything in?

Also what items could you not do without when competing?

I try and narrow down my kit to stuff I really need.

So..off the top of my head:

2x buckets-1 washing, 1 drinking-water container (full!), lavender wash (I love this stuff!)
Sponges, sweat scraper, thermatex rug
hoof pick, couple of brushes, fly spray, stable rubber, hoof oil
Stud kit-baby oil, plaiting kit, tacking cleaning stuff
Like Ice, plus bandages (use my number sheets to wrap round)
SJ/XC boots, white polypad, spare numnah plus 2x girths
Spare tack-leathers/reins.

Try to remember the horse and all my kit!

Thats all I can remember for now!

Same as above, lunge line, waterproof rug, food for me, food for horse, plenty of carrotts for bribing. Basic first aid kit for horse.

When I go SJ I only really do one class so don't take much stuff because I don't need it.

A bucket
Warm rug
Dandy brush
Polos

and obviously all of my clothes and the horses tack etc

Generator / petrol / portable power pack, Playstation

when i go SJ for just one day i take

the horse
the tack
boots
spurs
my clothes
a rug(or 3 depending how cold it is!!)
a water container, bucket and sponge if it is warm

but if i am going away for a few days the lorry gets fully loaded with everything you could possibly need, including about 50 different bits!! and 100's of medicines and creams etc.!

I take everything! I have a standard heap of kit (different rugs / first aid kit / boots / spares / my gear etc.) which stay in the vehicle. So the only thing I really need to do is add the tack and anything specific depending on what Im doing that day.

I ALWAYS make sure I have a big cold drink to take, a waterproof sheet and sugar beet water with electrolytes in it (or else they dont tend to drink).

Obviously my horse and all my everyday tack, my clothes and money.
I keep some stuff in the box, usually
grooming kit
bucket
water container
bridle number
hat
whip
rug

Blimey Charlie - that is masses!! Why 2 pairs of overreach boots?
I keep water/2 buckets/grooming kit/haynets/stud girth/stud kit/dressage girth/white saddlecloth/posh sj saddlecloth/sj boots/xc boots/my jacket/my boots/my hat/gloves/whips/hairnet/stock etc in the lorry, so really just have to add horse plus saddle and bridle!!
Still manage to forget stuff though.

well its nothing to do with the fact that I get so nervous I feel like I might need to change them ! I have my white calvins for under my breeches which for some reason i dont put on till i get changed into my whites and then once i get changed back into my jeans i put a pair of very comfy pants ! just a little tradition i think!
Also cant go anywhere without the baby wipes and oil of olay !
But I often forget very important items such as bridle or girth !
