Um - not sure about this horses breeding........

I'd second the comments re: photography -- looks like the kind of picture I would take... and two rising three is such a weedy unbalanced age to boot. If I were shopping, I'd want to see him in the flesh before deciding to pass.

still a baby & at the gangly stage,i would have a look in the flesh if close enough

I would go have a look, my boy same breed is only now growing into himself and he is just 6 this year. I dont think the photographs are the most flattering. But if you are interested I would give them a call see if he is registered etc, and go down and have a look. My guy looked like a mule when he was born until he started to trot round after his mum and then you could see the fresian in him. All the best from another fan of the breed.

Really unflattering pics but then Im sure we've all had a bad pic taken at some point. He might be really gorgeous in real life!!!

i agree with hoo-ya, he has loads of growing, saw this warmblood stallion at 2 1/2 and he still looked like a foal, 1 yr later and he has a massive presence and loads of muscle and condition. they just look off at that age!

Hmm - hear what you're all saying, certainly seems a hell of a price for his age and, um, ugly duckling stage

Would have to come from amazing lines to pay that price!!!

I agree with others I think the photos are not going to sell this chap.

I would expect something with a bit more about them and more pressence but could be the photo's.

There haven been some nice stallions of this breed on this site recently and definately better examples by the photo's displayed

Even taking account of the picture quality this is not a good horse of his type. Infact i think its very difficult in this country to find good types of this breed. I spent 5 yrs in the Netherlands and was lucky enough to be involved in the backing of the 6 horses that pull the golden carriage for the queen of the Netherlands. They were all young entires and looked male and oozed quality and presence, the picture of the horse you asked about is simply not male or quality enough . You are right this really is a lovely breed with fab charactures you can do MUCH better than this. I hope you find your special horse.

"Really unflattering pics" aren't they just, & they are asking 5.5k. If they can't be bothered to show it stood up properly & one of it moving, then I would not be lining their pockets with that kind of money. Mind you what people are asking & what they get are 2 different things.
