Have been called apon to puppy-sit this afternoon and evening!

It will be at my nans, and the puppy is waiting to be picked up from hers to go to his new home at my uncles ..

Problem lies here .. he was taken from his mum too early so needs constant attention and fuss otherwise he whines and cries! So how can i keep him amused?

Hes a male staffy pup, never been around a staff puppy before so tips?? :D

Just a tad excited!! :D

And there the problem lies "he needs constant attention and fuss" this is exactly what creates seperation issues and creates an anxious whinger:p
If you want any peace then whilst he is with you then I advise stimulating play to tire him and some treats/goodies for him to chomp through.

Whoever is having him long term need to create a rotuine asap for this puppy, esp as its a staff, when they become destructive when not wanting to be left alone, (they can kill the interior of a house in minutes) and their vocals are excrutiatingly painful to hear "cue, pity the neightbours"
You should recommend they crate train him.

Hi cayla! Hes finally gone to sleep, we dont think he can possibly be over a month old! hes absolutly tiny!!
and hes been with the current owner for 3 weeks

My uncle is taking him and he currently has another staff, and will be crate training him!

Poor little boy this will be his 3rd home already :( Ive said if hes moved on again im having him as its so unfair on him, not his fault he was taken from his mum to early!

Will upload pics later so i can ask about his age, but we think def no older than 5 weeks :o

Hes so dependant, its not good but he'll have a good home with my uncle luckily! :(

Hold on a minute, you reckon him to be around 5 weeks but beenwith his current owner 3 weeks?! Good god almighty, what is the world coming to? That is absolutely shocking :(

I know its horrible, but hopefully going to a stable home with another staff will turn him around :)

Im so tempted to keep him myself, but i know hes going to a fab home!

Current owner didnt realize how young he was, i think thats how breeders get away with it! :(

If he was that young I think he would be dead unless he's been being hand reared. Please do post pics so you can get some advice relative to his age

What is he being fed if he's that young, are you giving him some sort of mild substitute ? bottle fed ?

That is shocking, do you know why he was taken so young from his mother.

I had a terrier cross that we reckon was taken too early from her mother, she lived til she was 16 bless her, I bought her for £10 from a market shop in Pontypridd, I only got her because my sister went over and said she was shaking in the display cabinet, I didn't want to look, she didn't even have a jumper or something to keep her warm

Some people are pigs
