Just wondering if any other unaffiliated riding clubs have had massive insurance rises on renewal this year,
Our newal quote has just come in at more than double that of last year,
No claims, nothing has changed,
It's just standard riding club cover for upto 100 members including member to member cover

Mine is affiliated and we're pretty active within BRC but I know there are some who have affiliated purely to get the insurance as it's a good deal - technically it's not allowed but they seem to get away with it!

Our club has no Intention on affiliating (we are far to low level for that lol)
But just interested to see if other unaffiliated club have had the same price hike as very odd it is doubled

You'd be surprised - classes start at intro dressage and 60cm for the jumping now. Besides, it's not just about competing there are lots of other things you can do and the insurance is definitely a benefit.
