So, the mare who lifted the paddock gate off its hinges(got her rug caught), has today broken her stable door.
We have stable doors that only swing outwards, metal frame w/ wood in it.
She was in her stable (no headcollar on or anything) Mum heard a sound, saw her biting her door, next moment, (mum wasn't looking) door is busted!
She has pulled the hinges out of the wall, and the door inwards splintering a lot f the wood and it looks like a bulldozer has gone through it!
Nightmare horse....more repairs! Anyone had anything happen like this? She is fine, cannot figure out how she ripped two sets of hinges out of concrete?

Jeeeeze!!!! Sounds like a bull, not a horse!!!!!!!

We have two stock bulls and they've never done anything like that, inspite of charging at the steel door frames!

At stables near us a horse was in his stable with headcollar on & suddenly people heard a lot of banging & went to see what was happening. They saw that the headcollar had caught in the stable door, he'd lifted it off its hinges & he was wandering around the yard with th door dangling from his headcollar in a panic. Fortunately he was ok.
