Well after today's events (it put a big damper on my Christmas
) I am moving my horses to there new yard early in the morning!!!
Looking for people's opinions!
I currently rent a field off of a man in my local area for my 2 horses, yesterday evening just as it was getting dark the land lord came to me and told me that some people where claiming "my horses will starve" (which upset me a lot! Yes there is barely any grass but I work my butt off to keep my horses well!! They get 2 massive piles of hayledge a day and a bucket of hard feed twice a day! I run myself around the world and back to care for my boys!) and he politely asked me to move them to his other field! I agreed and said I'd move them in the morning and explained I'd need to go get some tape and posts from my house as this field is far too many hazards for a horse to live in!!! (Metal spikes coming out ground, holes, massive sharp bricks) so I left there with the impression I'd come down today (Christmas) and spend it sorting out that field! So I went home and fished out some poles and tape and went to bed!
This morning I woke up and had my Christmas with my family and then left for the horses! When I got there they where not in there field!! I panicked for a moment and then saw they where in the other field! So naturally I was a bit ticked off as was my mother that the man I pay to rent me a field and nothing else had gone and moved him himself!! When I went into that field I was just glad he bothered to take there water buckets over and re filled them!! BUT I am not okay with it!!! My little pony was found in that hazardes field with a big cut and his rug 100% wreaked!! So that's my poor little baby horse got a big cut on him (not serious enough for a vet but as all you softies will agree it's not nice seeing your babies hurt!) and £30 I spent on that new rug gone which I'm not too bothered about as well yes it's a waste of money bug rugs are replaceable!
So that's you got the just of the story and I would like too know if you guys would be upset too! As personally I'm upset and dis hearted over the situation!
Shall also add I was due to move to a better yard on the 2nd of Jan anyway since there isn't any good grass where we are currently and there is no where to ride and other problems etc! But because of what happened today I'm moving them in the morning to the new yard anyway!
