Can anyone tell me about this - how to qualify etc??

What levels etc??

Where the qualifiers are held? (am i right in saying the finals are sheepgate EC)?

If you go on the BD website all the info is there in the under 25 link, you can also join BYRDS and take advantage of the training offered.
There are championship classes from prelim level upwards plus some unaff. held at Sheepgate in August. You will need to check rule book for how to qualify.
 
For the unaff you need to take part in two qualifying classes, I have no idea where they will be near you, phone or email bd or sheepgate and ask.
For the affiliated you will probably need to get two scores above a certain % at your level to qualify at any affiliated show, but do not have a rule book to check.
It is free to join BYRDS, although training will not be, it is well subsidised and the area training is of a good standard. You do not have to be a BD member to join either.
 
im a BD member anyhow (onyl me not horse)!

will ring sheepgate as would be nice just to try qualify

I am through to 2nd part trailblazers but would love to also go to sheepgate ec too :)
