I have the horseware one with a full neck and its the most useful rug (and the most used) that I have i think! Thats to the point that i think im going to buy a second so he can at least have a change of under rug soon ;p

The neck is nice and roomy (my horse has a pretty decent neck). His is a 350g weight so its really heavy but i think they come in differing weights.

Never slipped

Ditto but in 200g, Best item so far.. can fold down neatly and tucked insde the stable rug if neck not needed. AT 17 hands he got large... nice fit.

I have a masta under rug with neck, 4oz, not had it long. It was 40 quid new, has nice fleecy lining and the seem is off the withers. It also has a satin lining over the mane to stop it rubbing. So far seems better than my old weatherbeeta under rug with neck (which pony trashed as he didnt like the colour!).
I found both of them were generous width wise in the neck but not sure about length as my horse has quite a short neck.

Got a Mark Todd one but can't get the neck done up, my horse does have a big neck also a bit tight on shoulders so may think of getting an alternative next year.

The Horsewear ones only come in 300g now. I quite like the Weatherbeeta Under Rug Combos, 220g. If you want a properly light weight one then try the Weatherbeeta Jasper Extra Lite Combo, 100g (that's the only one I've never seen but I have the standard neck one and it's great).

I have the weatherbeeta under rug combo and its great would highly recommend, its has no surcingles and never moves - brilliant!

i have the masta quiltmasta light which is the same weight as the underrung i believe but is suitable to e used as a rug on its own as it has X surcingles although i do love the look feel of the masta underrug but i use the rug on its own so i'd have to use a surcingle

(i believe that the quiltmasta light is baby blue/pink & the masta underrug is navy/baby blue this year)

I got a Robinsons Full Neck Under Rug in the sale for £19 - haven't tried it on my boy yet but it feels nice & isn't too thick. They still had a few odd sizes the other day when I had a look.

I've got the Derby House one and its really good, its got velcro on the neck and it never comes undone. Word of warning, I've bought it for Tarquin who is a 6'3 and have recently been using it on Murphy as he is in and full clipped he is usually a 6' but has a very well developed neck and the 6'3' only just fits him on the neck. Tried to buy another one the other day and they's sold. Wanted a weatherbeeta one and that had sold out too. :-(

I bought the Horseware one for my new horse, but have sadly had to stop using it. Although it seemed to fit him fine, it slips back overnight, and I was arriving at the yard in the morning to find him half strangled by the neck cover which wrinkled and slipped down his neck. A shame because he was lovely and warm in it. I tried using a surcingle, and also the clip on straps, but it didn't seem to help. Now just using the liner from my Rambo Duo NZ and hoping he's OK with a naked neck!

Thanks guys.I just looked on the Robinsons sale page and they only had the 5'3 left
