I acquired 2 emaciated foals at the beginning of the year, 11 months, 12hh and 9 months 12.1 roughly as they were both very terrified. 7 months and a lot of tlc later and they are standing 13.1 (18 months old) and 13.3 (14 months) I am worried that their terrible start is going to have a permanent affect on them, has anyone got any experience of growth rates of seriously malnourished foals and any guesses as to what height they may make? The ages are what I was told so I am unsure how true they are but teeth wise they looked to be at least 6 to 9 months old
