Has anyone any experience of a mare that 'underperforms' rather than gets stroppy during her cycles? My mare has been fab since last August right thru winter, but just these last 3 weeks when I have taken her out hacking/show jumping/dressage she is not interested at all. In fact SJ she will hardly lift herself off the ground to the point where we have gone from tickets to not even being able to enter the clear round class at the beginning of the day!!! I have just put her on Oestress but she is so laid back/not interested I am worried this will make her worse!
