A friend at my yard has just got her pony back from being on loan to a riding school and she was worked quite hard and she has hardly any condition. she will now be ridden once or twice a week with possibility of going hunting in the next few weeks. what would be a good feed for her?

If she is underweight, wouldn't it be better to get the weight back on before working her again? If she has been worked hard in the RS, maybe a rest would do her good instead of contemplating hunting in a few weeks?

Id personally would put weight back on her first as well. And I wouldn't be doing any hunting due to the fact that its a lot of fast work on hard ground (ie. frozen or roads) which can cause concussive laminitis...

Alfa A Lite is also good for condition, and is Laminitis Trust approved. Echo the others though and wouldn't take her hunting till she had put some weight on.

Speedibeet is also Laminitis Trust approved, if that's any help?

Can thoroughly recommend Top Spec Cool & Condition cubes, they are cereal free and under 10% starch/sugar so should be OK for most laminitics. I use them with mine with no problems.
