The last couple of warm days that we have had I have noticed that my boy is sweating on one side after being ridden. My first thought was saddle fit but when looking at him he had sweat under saddle, girth area and back of legs but only on one side.
Who do I contact first, saddle fitter, back person or vet, or , can this be normal(ish)
Someone at my yard mentioned that if he is weaker on one side then he can sweat this side more??
Am confused as to what to do for the best? Obviously don't want to hurt him.
He shows no discomfort being ridden or feeling all down his back, although I know some horses are so good that he might not show response to pain.
Any ideas as to the cause and what options to take now would be very much appreciated.
